Metaverse, a term that we often hear lately, a new technology that will change the future, virtual life that we have only seen in movies, is slowly starting to be realized in the real world.
What is metaverse? It can be described as the internet provided in 3D, a virtual environment that you can enter, not only limited to viewing on a 2D screen.
The metaverse trend that is starting to develop makes the emergence of many cryptocurrency projects. The combination of metaverse and blockchain technology produces a platform or product that attracts the interest of many people.
Many crypto projects have emerged with innovative nft and metaverse products in the form of VR games, where you can not only play exciting games from the platform but can also make money or passive income just by playing games.
And the project that I will discuss in this article is called REVOMON, an online monster trainer RPG that fully integrates NFTs with cutting edge VR, allowing our players to create real value in a virtual world.

Ownership of in-game items entirely belongs to the player, all items obtained in the game are integrated on blockchain technology. All players can exchange their game item assets into nft stored in the wallet connected to their account, nft which has value and can be traded on the marketplace nft, either the marketplace of Revomon itself or on other nft marketplaces.
- Play To Earn
There is no longer a term that you waste time playing games. In the Revomon game, the more time you spend playing the game, the greater the chance to get items or achievements, and the things/assets you get, of course, have value.
- Governance (DAO)
Revomon uses a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) enabled through the $REVO governance token. $REVO develops synergy between the community and the team, and allows a community driven model for decision making. So there will be a voting process where you can be involved in developing the project further.
- Staking
Revomon will create an exciting way to generate passive revenue for you through staking and farming. 35.2% of the max supply will be held in the RevoVault and will be used solely to reward all users that stake or provide liquidity to feed DeFi protocols such as Uniswap and Quickswap (on Polygon).

Revomon is being built on the Unity engine, the C# scripting API and the built-in Visual Studio integration. This choice is based on several criteria:
- Efficiency on low power machines (like the Oculus Quest 1 & 2).
- Community Sizes.
- Engine Age.
- Developer documentation.

When I wrote this article, the revomon price was around $0.7 with a market cap of 18 million USD, I think this price is still low for the size of one of the most potential blockchain metaverse games.
